Using old baking techniques, loaves of bread, rolls and other baked goods are made by hand in the new master bakery at Globus. The bakery was designed to be visible in order to convey this to the customers. For the integration of the new master bakery, 500m2 of storage space was converted and technically updated. The conversion took place during ongoing operations in close coordination with day-to-day business. The focus was on visibility into the bakery. For this purpose, large glass surfaces were built into the existing building so that customers can observe the processes. In order to support this effect, all building services installations are hardly visible due to targeted color design. Globus' corporate design was well integrated and individually designed for the market with small adjustments. As part of this measure, the former fish and cheese counter was also redesigned. The freshness concept is open and modern for the customer to experience.
