The planned daycare center will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Steinachtalhalle on a meadow-like open space.
The building is planned as a single storey to enable direct connections between all group rooms and the outdoor facilities.
The floor plan is divided into two main zones running parallel in a north-south direction
Along the parking lot there is a narrower zone with areas that are shared by all groups. 
In the southeast corner of the building is the Snoezelen room for the kindergarten groups and the learning workshop. 
Furthermore, in the southern part of this zone there is the flexible multi-purpose room, which can be extended towards the central adjacent dining room by means of a mobile partition wall. The parents' waiting room is located directly next to the central main entrance. To the north of the main entrance are the administrative areas of the daycare center and the building services room in the northeast corner of the building. The second, wider main zone is separated from the first zone by a central corridor. This has 4 widened areas that allow dual use as flexible communal areas. Several skylights provide natural light to the central corridor, in addition to several branch corridors with direct views to the outside.
The main zone houses all group room areas and consists of six clearly visible group areas.
The three units for the day-care groups are located in the southern part, and the three units for the crèche groups are mirrored in the northern part. Each unit has its own toilets and storage rooms. The main group rooms and the side group rooms housed in the compact units open onto the respective outdoor terraces. 
The group room units have central cloakroom areas providing direct access to the outside play areas.
Large window openings allow visual connections to the outside area. In addition, several skylights ensure sufficient daylight in the larger rooms. The majority of the outdoor play areas will be grouped south of the planned building in the protected area behind the Steinachtalhalle. Additional outdoor areas, directly assigned to the individual groups, are located west of the group rooms towards the railway embankment.
